sermon series for the early Autumn

A bigger house, nicer car, better holidays: wanting more isn’t always bad, but are we looking for satisfaction in all the wrong places? ‘Being rich’ is about how God wants us to respond to his blessings. This four-week series puts a fresh perspective on what being ‘rich’ really means and how we can honour God with the richness of our finances, time, and hearts.

For early Christians, generosity was the hallmark of the church. For four weeks, starting on Sunday 16th September we explore 1 Timothy 6:18, to redefine what wealth is, how to use it, and helps us a church practice being rich. Most of us are richer than we think. We just aren’t very good at it. We’ll discover that it’s not what you have that matters; it’s what you do with what you have that will count for you or against you in the kingdom of heaven.

Hope you can join us.
