weekly prayer rhythms

Prayer is at the very centre of our being and at the heart of how we serve community.
Our vision is to be a house of prayer for our community.

In this season of seismic change and at this pivotal time in our world’s history, it is vital that we lean into God’s love, look at our lives and the world from God’s perspective, and call on God to do the things that only God can do. And in the midst of social isolation and quarantine – prayer is our greatest weapon against an unseen foe.
William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, said,“This Army marches on its knees. So, pray hard, pray long, pray often.”  We are calling you to press into prayer in a way that you, perhaps, haven’t done before. We would like to introduce some daily/weekly rhythms into our church life, which will help all of us step up in prayer and step out in faith through action.
Prayer is our first response, not our last resort.

Immanuel Prayer

Immanuel Prayer is a process of inviting God to reveal his presence in our lives—and in our pain in particular.

If you are struggling with anxiety or have hit a wall and would like some help to move forwards, we can arrange one-one prayer for you with one of our trained Immanuel Prayer coaches.

Drop us a line and we’ll get in touch with you to arrange a call at a convenient time.

At the End of Each Day

As each day draws to a close, we encourage you to take up the practice of the Daily Examen. This is a technique of prayerful reflection on the events of the day in order to detect God’s presence and to discern his direction for us.
