In this time of continued disruption to our lives with the Coronavirus stealing lives and livelihoods, we are choosing to kneel together to pray God’s Light into our darkness to see our nation healed and restored.
Before we start our 24-& Week of Prayer on Sunday 16th May, we’d like to invite you to join us for 15 minutes of prayer for our nations and communities, as part of Thy Kingdom Come.
Previously this has happened in town and city centres in our localities, but this year we are joining other churches across the country online, with a map to plot your location (house by house) and guided prayers.
Bow Down is a national event organised by Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland, as part of Thy Kingdom Come.
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
Bow Down was birthed in Trent Vineyard, Nottingham. Their generosity with this idea and their vision for uniting in prayer has enabled this online event to be made possible.
All you need to do is head to the Bow Down website on the evening of Friday 14th May (from 8:30pm) where you will be able to drop a pin of your location on an interactive map and see others joining in from across the nations, and receive prayer points in real-time.
We will be starting at 9pm so make sure you’ve checked in beforehand and ready to pray with us! You can also set a reminder on the website.
