From Series: "Follow Me"
For many, the Christian life can feel like a long game of "Jesus Says": Jesus says pray. Jesus says give. Jesus says go to church. But upon further investigation, we discover that Jesus’ invitation to his first-century audience was an invitation to relationship. And it began with a simple request—follow me. In this 8-part series, we want to take the church on a journey through the gospels to trace Jesus’ teachings on what it means to follow. We will see that being called a follower of Jesus is much more meaningful than simply being called a Christian. To help us we will follow the stories of the disciples’ experiences of following Jesus to help us work out exactly what followership could look like for us today.
